• Density: Our Canadian maple components boast the highest density in North America, 740 kg/m³.

• Our quality: Growth rings of 1/16" per year.

• Colour: Sapwood is ivory with a slight reddish brown tint. Heartwood varies from pale grey-brown to deep buff.

• Texture: Solid grain, uniform, polishes well.

• Applications: Musical instruments, furniture, floor coverings, cabinetwork, sports equipment, moulding, joinery, decorative trim, etc.

• Machinability: Excellent.

• Stability, bonding, sanding, retention of screws and nails, paint adhesion, texture: Good to very good.

• Drying: We control our drying charts 100% for maximum esthetics of our products.
